Robert Griffin - CEO
Mr. Griffin joined i2 as CEO in July 2009, as a result of the merger between i2 and Knowledge Computing Corporation (KCC). He leads a global organization with over 400 employees and a customer base of over 4500 organizations in 150 countries.
Prior to i2, Griffin was President and CEO of Tucson based KCC. He successfully transformed KCC from a small technology company to become the leading provider of technology-based crime-fighting solutions. COPLINK has helped thousands of leading edge law enforcement agencies to fight crime nationwide.
Prior to KCC, Griffin co-founded of eMotion Inc. a leader in digital media management technology and services. eMotion Inc. was created out of a merger Mr. Griffin facilitated between Picture Network International (a wholly owned subsidiary of Eastman Kodak) where he was the President and CEO and Cinebase Software. Under his leadership eMotion achieved the Deloitte and Touche Fast 50, Fast 500 for each of his years there.
Prior to PNI/eMotion Mr. Griffin was one of the founding partners of Internet Business Advantages (IBA) Inc., an early professional services company that focused on building technology in the ECRM arena. IBA was purchased by KANA, the leader in ECRM solutions.
Mr. Griffin spent 16 years at Digital Equipment Corporation, where in his last assignment he was the Vice President and CIO for the Accounts Business Unit, a $2 billion division that focused on Digital's largest corporate clients. Prior to that he held the position of Eastern Region Vice President for Digital Consulting, a 700 person organization with over $250 million of annual billings.
Mr. Griffin did his undergraduate studies in Business Management at Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire. He has completed the Advanced International Management Program at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France and is a graduate of the NASDAQ Mindshare Entrepreneur program. Mr. Griffin was the 2001 winner of the Deloitte and Touche Entrepreneur of the Year for Greater Washington DC in the Software category.
Anthony Carty - CFO
Mr. Carty is an executive staff member and CFO for i2. Carty leads a team focused on financial and operational roles, including finance and accounting, information technology and business system functions of this global organization. He has over 15 years experience in finance and accounting roles with a focus on software and high technology manufacturing companies.
Prior to i2's acquisition from ChoicePoint by Silver Lake Sumeru, a leading private equity investor in technology and related growth industries, Carty served as Vice President and Business Sector Controller for ChoicePoint's Government Services group.
Prior to joining ChoicePoint, Anthony served as the Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer for venture-backed, private equity backed and privately held businesses including: Renaissance Lighting in McLean, VA, a manufacturer of solid state (LED) lighting products; OEM Group, a group of companies based in Phoenix, AZ involved in the semiconductor equipment market; and CMC Wireless Components (now CMC Interconnect Technologies), a semiconductor component manufacturer.
His previous finance roles include, vice president with the Canadian private equity firm, Kilmer Van Nostrand, with an investment focus in the software and high technology manufacturing industries. He was an Audit Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers' High Technology Practice in Boston, Massachusetts where he became a Certified Public Accountant.
Anthony received his Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and Accounting from Cornell University.
